1 Put the app on your phone

Open the Money Book link in your phone browser (Chrome or Safari). In the browser menu, tap "Add to Home screen". Now Money Book has its own button on your phone, like any other app.

2 Create your money book

Tap Create your money book. Enter your name, your phone number, and choose a PIN (4 to 8 numbers). The PIN is your key — do not share it. Your records are private: nobody else can see your money.

3 Record money in and money out

Every time money comes in or goes out:

• Tap + Money In when you receive money (sales, MoMo received).
• Tap − Money Out when you spend (buying goods, transport, food).
• Enter the amount, tap what it is for (Sales, Transport…), then tap Save.

Best habit: record it the moment it happens. Small entries you skip are how money "disappears".

4 Know your balance

The big green card at the top is My Balance — all your money in minus all your money out. Below it you see today and this month. Tap All Records to see everything you ever entered, month by month.

5 No internet? No problem

Keep recording as normal. Entries save on your phone and show in a yellow "waiting to send" list — and they are already counted in your balance, so the number you see is your true balance. When internet comes back, the app sends them by itself. Never enter the same thing twice — if you see it in the yellow list, it is saved.

6 Fix mistakes

Wrong amount? Go to All Records, tap the pencil (✎) to change it, or the cross (✕) to delete it. A waiting (yellow) entry also has a cross to remove it before it is sent.

7 Get your records on paper

In Settings → Download my records you can save all your records as PDF (for printing or WhatsApp), Excel, or CSV. Good for loans, susu groups, or your own records.

8 Forgot your PIN?

Ask the app owner — they can reset it for you, then you choose a new one in Settings. To change your PIN yourself any time: Settings → Change my PIN.
